Allison has an MFA in Creative Writing from Hamline University.
She is the Book Recommendations Editor for The Bookends Review. She is always on the lookout for new and upcoming books to cover, as well as writers who would like to write book recommendation essays, short stories, poems and creative essays for Bookends.
Allison has had many jobs, including but not limited to: stage manager, classroom teacher (2nd-3rd grades), adjunct professor (research composition, creative writing), private piano and voice teacher, freelance copywriter, dissertation editor, and writing tutor.
She has a beautiful tabby cat named Sybbie.
